What's in the welcome pack?
Every group of guests receive their welcome pack. Wanna know what “gifts” have we prepared for you? Read the article!
Are you coming to GPtents? Then you'll get an envelope with super cool stuff at check-in! The contents of the envelope varies according to the service you have booked. So, it depends… are you coming as a Hotel Tents or Camping guest?
HOTEL TENTS GUESTS
For those who have booked a tent we prepared a special envelope. You'll receive an envelope per tent, meaning if you have booked more tents, you'll receive more envelopes!
As the tent can accommodate two people, the contents of the envelope is made for two guests. If you're coming alone or with a little child, the receptionist adapts the contents of the envelope accordingly.
Inside the envelope you'll usually find:
- a brochure
- 2 pairs of earplugs
- breakfast vouchers
- 2 wristbands
- instructions for the tent lock
- a parking permit
- a map of the camp and of the circuit
A brochure will tell you all the important information:
- checkout time is till 10 am
- breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30
- GPrestaurant is open from 5 pm to 10 pm
- food and drinks menu
- you can borrow a powerbank at the reception for a deposit of 20 euros
- camping rules you need to follow
- how to get to the circuit
- pricelist (fees for any damages)
We advise you to read the brochure carefully as it contains the rules you need to follow while staying in GPtents. We also mail a Survival Guide to every guest before arrival and strongly advise you to read that one as well.
We hand out earplugs which you can take with you to the race track or use them at night if you have a hard time falling asleep with a background noise.
GPtents is not a party camp and doesn't allow bookings for a big group of people. We take pride in being a calm and quiet camp and go the lengths to abide by it. Though we cannot control the noise from the camps around us, we do everything we can to limit it in ours.
Breakfast vouchers are added to the envelope after the receptionist confirms with you how many nights you are staying. You receive one breakfast voucher per person per morning. Breakfast is included in the price of your accommodation.
Do not lose those breakfast vouchers, because without them you won't get the best continental luxurious breakfast ever! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you wouldn't want to go to the race hungry, now, would you?
Note that even if you come to check-in early in the morning, you unfortunately do not receive breakfast vouchers for that day. So you better pack a snack for the road, as the first meal awaiting you in GPtents is dinner at GPrestaurant!
As a Hotel Tents guest you get a GOLDEN wristband. The wristband is basically your ticket to the GPtents camp, that's why you should never take it off! The wristband also has the address of the camp written on it, in case you get lost or need to direct your taxi driver!
Every time you enter the camp, please wave your hand at us so we can see the wristband and make sure no imposters are trying to enter and use the facilities that you have paid for!
If your wristband gets too tight or dirty, come to the reception – we will take it off for you and give you a new one, it's no problem!
Your tent already has a lock on the inside part of the tent. This way you can leave your stuff there with no worries. We set the lock to an easy combination and give you the instructions on how to change it to your own combination.
In case you have any troubles with the lock, alert the receptionists. They will send the staff to your tent to deal with it and possibly give you a new lock.
A parking permit is issued for each vehicle. Please put it somewhere visible inside your vehicle. If you're coming on a motorbike, the parking staff will help you tape the parking permit to your windshield.
It is important that the parking permit is displayed as it confirms you have paid for the parking and are allowed to park in the GPtents parking lot.
Last but not least you'll receive a map of the campsite. All of the tents are numbered, so you should have no troubles finding yours. The receptionist will show you on the map where your tent is located and will circle it for you.
The map also shows where the showers and toilets are, where you can find the GPrestaurant, where the bar and everything else is.
Aside from this map, you can also get a map of the circuit and the shuffle bus stations with the bus' schedule, if there are any.
